Quick check before you install...

  • Your panels have a 13-16mm gap between slats
  • The clips are designed for panels where slats are stapled to felt backing
  • Not recommended for panels where the slats have been glued on.

Step by step: how to install

Step 1: Insert

Place the clip vertically into the gap between the slats.

Make sure it sits fully inside before moving to the next step.

Step 2: Rotate

Using a flat-head screwdriver, turn the clip 90°.

This rotates the clip behind the slat so it can lock into place.

Step 3: Check

The clip should feel secure and sit neatly within the gap.

If it doesn’t turn easily, try moving it slightly higher or lower. There may be a staple behind the slat.

Step 4: Add the Screw

Insert the supplied screw into the clip. Leave enough of the screw exposed to hang your item.

Tighten using a Phillips screwdriver until secure. Avoid overtightening.


Quick tip: If the clip doesn’t rotate at first, adjust the position slightly before applying pressure.
